Specialized Services for Collision and Insurance Claims

Dashboards, consoles, steering columns, seats, interior trim, airbag systems, instrument panels and interior electronics are all apart of TechZoneŽ. Our vast experience with these components makes the TechZoneŽ choice a simple one.  You want the best.

Auto interior technology, supplemental restraints, all the various electronics, and all of the related systems present a special challenge when it comes to properly repairing the interior of a vehicle. TechZoneŽ works directly with collision repair shops to identify the necessary repair needs and execute the repair to the standards set forth by the manufacturers of the vehicles and the systems. Meeting these standards requires:

  • Factory computerized scan tools to diagnose and reprogram system controllers
  • Knowing which parts must be replaced, which parts can be repaired and, just as importantly, which parts may be re-used.
  • Specialized training and experience
  • Having accurate information before the job begins

Full time technical staff and the combined research and experience of technicians across the country give us the best knowledge and skills to do the job right. Our intimate knowledge of special procedures and how to deal with uncommon problems is shared across the entire network through software and printed material.

Increased Efficiency
Airbag systems are a small part of the overall repair but they can cause all kinds of trouble if not handled correctly. When you can't deliver a car to a customer because the airbag light is on you are losing money! If you discover a missing part from the original estimate as the job is ending you are losing money. Every time the repair process for a vehicle is delayed, you are losing money and not utilizing your resources as efficiently as possible.

Our service is designed to eliminate all of these problems and make the repair run smoothly. Doing the job right the first time means you get the opportunity to repair more vehicles in a fixed amount of time. Again and again we've heard the problems facing shops trying to repair vehicles with airbag problems. They get to the end of the process and the car can't be delivered because the airbag light is on. Or, they discover a missing part deep inside a dashboard that holds up delivery for days. TechZoneŽ will help you overcome all of these problems.

Remember, you get paid for delivering cars, not working on them!

Best Use of Resources
We allow your people to concentrate on what they know best and where they are the most profitable. Think of us as a trained, "tooled" employee without the expense and overhead of an actual full time employee. The car never needs to leave your location because we come to you. No more sending vehicles to the dealer adding expense and exposure to your operation.

Liability Protection
Your shop is liable for every repair that leaves your place of business. If a system is not restored to the factory specifications and someone is injured as a result, the legal impact can be devastating.

TechZoneŽ technicians are specially trained and supported by processes, checklists, research and tools to make sure the job is done right. We like to say that "the best insurance policy we carry is the quality of the work we do". This is just one of the advantages you'll receive when you give us a call.

Easy to Use
Within 24 hours of the initial call we dispatch a technician to come out to the vehicle and perform a detailed initial estimate. Then, we schedule with you to complete the install at the appropriate time. We take care of the rest.

Airbag On/Off Switches
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) published a final rule on November 21, 1997 that sets forth a process allowing automobile dealers and repair businesses to install airbag on-off switches in the vehicles of certain, at-risk individuals. For people who qualify, finding an installer can be a chore.
